Acute
Dies are the most universal type of press brake dies. Recommended
as a starter set. Make air-form bends from 30° to shallow bends.
The press brake ram is adjusted to limit the depth of punch travel
into the die to obtain the desired bend angle. 30° dies can
also be used for hemming. Female dies can be purchased with flat
top instead of tapered sides.
